Esperance Accommodation Booking Terms & Conditions
All rates quoted on this site are subject to availability. All rates are inclusive of GST and quoted in Australian dollars (AUD). By using the rates quoted on this site you agree with and abide by these Terms and Conditions. Rates as quoted are per room per night on a room only basis.
Rates
Rates quoted do not include the credit card surcharge, based on the cost of acceptance.
Rates may increase without notice due to any changes in or the imposition of government charges taxes or levies. Guests will be notified where possible of any increases.
Bookings
- You must be over 18 years of age to make a booking. Management reserves the right to request ID from guests for verification purposes. No refund will be given if you are under 18 and requested to vacate the premises.
- We encourage all guests to book directly through our website for the best available rates and offers.
- Bookings can be made with Booking.com and Expedia.
- Phone booking can be made by contacting the Manager. Credit card payment is required at time of booking.
Self check-in/check-out
- Open 24/7 with self-check-in/out (check-in 2pm, check-out by 10am)
- Guests will receive instructions through email with their unique door code for our smart locks.
- Extra Cars, Boats & Trailers: Please advise at time of booking if you are bringing anything other than a car, as only one car is permitted per room.
- Management Hours: The Motel Manager will be onsite and available from 8.00 AM to 5.00 PM Monday to Sunday and Public Holidays.
- For any emergencies, call the Manager: 0429 646 660.
- We will try wherever possible to accommodate early arrival and/or late departure.
- The Manager will make all attempts to find alternative accommodation in the unlikely event your room has been double booked.
Payment
To make a confirmed online or phone booking, payment is required in full for one night stay. If stay is more than one night, a deposit of one night’s accommodation will apply. Any outstanding balance is due 14 days prior to arrival.
We accept payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and Credit Card. Please note we accept Visa, MasterCard and AMEX credit cards only. We do not accept Diners Club cards.
A valid credit card number is required for security on all bookings made. We reserve the right to release any or all room space if payment terms are not met.
Cancellation Policy
- Accommodation fees will not be refundable if your stay is cut short.
- No refund will apply if cancellation is advised less than 14 days prior to arrival date.
- If cancellation is advised more than 14 days prior to arrival date, a refund will be arranged.
- No refund will be automatically given for a simple change of mind, change of circumstances, or the wrong accommodation is chosen.
- No refund will apply to non-refundable deposits.
- Where a deposit has been paid over our peak periods the deposit is non-refundable. ***Peak periods include Christmas holidays (December 18 - January 31), Easter and long weekends.
- Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment.
- Whilst all efforts are made to meet your accommodation requests, management reserves the right to relocate or change rooms after booking.
Additional Charges
Management also reserves the right to charge guests for the following: all damages and breakages, lost keys, missing items, late departure, extra cleaning and unpaid expenses. Any additional charges will automatically be charged to the credit card provided as security for the booking following at least one attempt to contact the credit card holder.
Non-Smoking
All rooms are non-smoking inside. Any traces of residual smoke inside will incur an additional cleaning charge of $300. Any additional costs of cleaning soft furnishings may be added as deemed necessary by management.
Pets
Not permitted.
Behaviour and Noise Policy
Please respect other guests and keep noise to a minimum. Unreasonable noise will not be tolerated after 10.00pm. A charge of $200 will apply if management deem it necessary to ask guests to cease unreasonable noise after 10.00pm.
We reserve the right to request people who are making too much noise at any time of the day or night to leave. No refunds will be applicable. A security company or police may be called to investigate complaints of excessive noise or anti-social behavior. Any charges incurred by the security company or police will be charged to the credit card provided as security for the booking.
Liability
The Esperance Accommodation shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of the use of (or inability to use) this website or its contents. Upon payment and confirmation of your booking you acknowledge that we are not liable to you for any loss, damage, injury or any incidental, indirect, special, consequential or economic loss or damage whether to person or property and whether arising from default, negligence, misconduct or otherwise by The Esperance Accommodation, our employees or our agents and you indemnify The Esperance Accommodation against all claims.
Privacy
The Esperance Accommodation is committed to protecting the privacy of all guests. We collect personal information such as your name, contact details, payment information, booking details, vehicle registration, and any preferences necessary to provide accommodation and related services. We may also collect CCTV footage for security purposes.
We collect this information directly from you, through our website, or via third-party booking platforms. Your information is used to manage reservations, provide services, maintain security, meet legal obligations, and communicate with you regarding your stay. We do not sell personal information.
Personal information is stored securely and retained only as required for operational or legal purposes. We may disclose information to service providers such as payment processors, booking platforms, IT support, emergency services, or government authorities where required by law. Some service providers may be located outside Australia.
Guests may request access to or correction of their personal information at any time by contacting us. If you have concerns about how your information is handled, you may lodge a complaint with us and, if unresolved, with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
By making a booking or staying with us, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in this Privacy Statement.
